London ...

I went to the Southbank centre yesterday to do some photos for a project for a sketching course that I am doing. When I printed some of them out, there was a bit of a lack of coloured ink in the printer (of course, always when you need it!) but it actually made for some interesting effects, so I thought I share a bit of London with you.

Raw concrete ...

.... mixed with the delicacy of Big Ben and a bit of green!

Blue ....

Calms and cools, the colour of sky and ocean. And it is beautiful in combination with whites.

I really like the lacquered walls in the first two pictures.

Travel Journal

Well, kind off ... Looking back at a lovely weekend in the south of France, which started very windy and cold but then gave us a couple of sunny days. We started off with a dinner at the newly opened Hotel de Paris with some friends ....

Next day at the beach, still quite windy, but amazing scenery with the snow covered mountains in the distance ...

And a nice lunch at our favourite beach club - Tropicana - all new and revamped due to the stormy winter, fresh and inviting!

Oh well, summer maybe coming soon, until then ... rain outside and sun in the mind!! xx
