An amazing lodge in the Waterberg by Silvio Rech and Lesley Carstens,

Project architects Jack Frenkel, Marco Corazza and interiors by Aparna Ramani with Lesly.

The lodge, called Leobo, has just been shortlisted for a World Architecture Festival Award - Congratulations to the design team!

South african affair...

Cape town apartment of a fashion designer Marianne Fassler, who stayed true to her roots and used only local design.

The striking bar stools by Haldane Martin flank a counter by Antoine Grobler. And isn't the golden mosaic-tiled splash back cool?

 This wooden counter is also created by Antoine Grobler - the wooden blocks underneath are a great idea! Model is wearing one of the designers newest creations.

Good storage

First a classic in my books - I ripped this out of a magazine in 1998! And it survived years of throwing out - must be the German in me that has a thing for organised storage!

Piano can be hidden away in a cupboard - very clever.

What a nice little office space with one of my favourite chairs!

And also love the colour of the wood combined with the concrete walls.
