I only managed Decorex and a quick visit to the Chelsea Harbour Design Center for this years design week, due to before mentioned events ... Here now a few bits that caught my eye at Decorex:
Chandelier by Cox London (makers of bespoke pieces of furniture and lighting)
Beautiful lighting by Bert Frank Ltd. (lighting with an industrial/mid-century touch)
An impressive Murano chandelier by iDogi.
Pendant lights by Michael Ruh at Design Nation.
Zinc Pendants at A Place in the Garden.
A beautiful table by Sentient Furniture Inc
And, my favourite find: BARN IN THE CITY, an Amsterdam based company who create furniture and wall panels using 19th Century reclaimed barn wood and very unique metal and iced finishes.
Strolling through the exhibition, I also said hello to Fabrice at Redloh House of Fabrics and writer of A-Gent of Style and had a good look at various of the 'in the making' feature areas, where skilled craftsmen demonstrated hand weaving, making of decorative a plasterwork and hand blocking wallpaper. All in all a very enjoyable visit. xx
