Dark ceiling, dark floors and white walls is quite an usual but good idea. Some of the things I also really like are the ceiling height steel and glass doors and the Emery & Cie black tiles on the kitchen wall and in the fireplace. This is a period property from the outside, but contemporary inside - very cool.
